Gameplay
In Dragon City, you raise dragons and create a city on a floating island. Dragons create gold, which you can use to buy and upgrade buildings. Farm and grow food to breed dragons and earn more gold. You can breed dragons to introduce new dragons.
You can fight other players’ dragons in alliance battles to gain gems and food and find yourself progressing faster.
In certain events you can find special dragons. When you reach level 27, you can enter the ancient world and exchange gold coins for crystals to collect and cultivate ancient dragons.

Dragons come in different elements such as earth, fire and sea. They can learn moves for up to four elements. New elements such as beauty and magic have been added in the update.
There were once five dragon rarities: Common, Rare, Very Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Heroic dragons were further added, followed by mythical dragons. Some legendary dragons evolved into mythical dragons after the update.
