Room 504:
- Start by turning off the radio and clearing the room. Pick up the ashtray and place it back on the shelf. Clean stains on the floor.
- Make the bed by interacting with the sheets and holding the action button and dragging the sheets upward. Find a letter titled “Debt Acknowledgment” on the dresser next to your bed and a handwritten note on the dresser behind you.
- Put away the vacuum cleaner, clean up the trash, and check the note next to the yellow bin.
- Make sure the pillows on the right side of the second bed are placed on the left side bed.
- Enter the bathroom (right door), clean the toilet and bathroom, and leave the room. This triggers a cutscene where Sophie receives a call from someone named Beth.
Lobby:
- As you explore the halls, you can sometimes hear Sophie’s thoughts by pressing the corresponding on-screen button prompt.
- Walk through the hallway and as you enter the reception area you’ll meet Beth. You can choose different dialogue options, which may affect the depth of your investigation.
- Gossip about Wendy and Jacques as it opens up interesting conversations and loosens Beth’s lips.
- Continue to the manager’s office, where you can eavesdrop on Bernard and Linda’s conversation. Andrew introduces himself.

- Go through the white door on the right and grab a mop from the wall to find the first of 3 locations for the “Writing on the Wall” achievement.
