Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gameplay

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet maintain the familiar gameplay structure from previous games, focusing on players catching and trading Pokémon to explore the world and battle other trainers. One notable addition is the option to fight trainers on the path. These games feature open worlds that seamlessly blend urban areas with open wilderness, unlike earlier Pokemon games.

Players are free to choose from three routes, and the objectives within these routes can be completed in any order. The game introduces 112 new Pokemon, including the starter Pokemon Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, as well as the legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon, providing a diverse lineup. Scarlett and Violet revealed the Terastall phenomenon, giving Pokémon a crystal-like appearance and changing their type to match their “Tera Type”, introducing special moves such as Tera Blast for Terastallized Pokémon.
