As the player is about to restore the last pillar, the Forsaken, being the player’s inner child, corrupted by negative emotions, attempts to use the orb to destroy the Valley. Players follow them, talk, and help the Forsaken remember the happier times and stop the rift from destroying everything. The Forsaken felt sorry, made amends with the player’s help, and returned to the valley. They were forgiven by the villagers and became part of Mengguang Valley again.
