Access the Loading tab

Select category

In the Loadout tab, select the category that contains the equipment you want to disassemble. Options include firearms, melee, grenades, shield mods, traversal mods, neck bomb mods, or lucky charms.

Enter management mode

After selecting a category, press the corresponding button to enter management mode: X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, or S on PC. This will bring up an overlay showing your available resources and breakdown options for the selected project.

Mark items

In admin mode, scroll through the list of projects you own in the selected category. Mark the individual weapons or equipment you want to disassemble. Alternatively, choose to disenchant all items that are not currently equipped in that slot. You can also mark items as favorites to prevent accidental damage.

After marking the items you want to disassemble, hold down the designated button (X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, or S on PC) to start the disassembly process. This action salvages marked items, converting them into resources that can be used to craft, upgrade, or reroll other gear in the Halls of Justice.

Precautions

Note that some equipment categories may contain items that can be used by multiple or all characters in the squad. Before decomposing, make sure that marked items are not useful to other characters. Equipment items for a specific character or other characters are indicated by green boxes and cannot be disassembled unless unequipped.

At the PlayStation State of Play on February 23, 2023, Rocksteady confirmed several key details, including the necessity of an internet connection, the launch of a cosmetic battle pass, and plans for post-launch content such as new characters and missions.
