Ends of the Earth Ready or Not,Objectives for Ready or Not’s Ends of the Earth

Are you ready for the end of the world?

“To the Ends of the World” in Ready or Not is a mission in which players assume the role of an LSPD SWAT officer and respond to a report of illegal weapons modifications at a house near Kawayu Beach. While not the most challenging, it introduces players to the city’s larger gun problem, setting the stage for later tragedies in the game.

The mission consisted of marching through a cramped three-story house and clearing out armed gunmen, including Los Locos gang members and the owners, an elderly couple and their son. The goal was to stop a gun-modification operation in the attic. Additionally, there is a soft target of finding a hidden money bag, revealing a story element that the family sold weapons mods to Los Locos to fund the mother’s treatment, which ties into the wider theme of illegal gun circulation in the city. .

In “Ready or Not,” players take on the role of David “Judge” Beaumont, leading a police tactical unit against criminals. Gameplay revolves around realistic tactical shooting, where both players and enemies can be quickly eliminated in a few shots, highlighting the importance of strategic planning. Players can choose from a variety of weapons, including rifles and pistols, with extensive customization options. The game encourages the use of less lethal weapons such as Tasers and focuses on capturing suspects alive for greater rewards.

Handcuffing a fallen suspect becomes a key factor, as some may fake their own death to stage a surprise attack. Maintaining fire discipline is critical to avoiding penalties for shooting a restricted suspect or civilian. Five game modes offer different challenges, from dealing with trapped suspects to spreading bombs and rescuing hostages. Missions can be completed alone with AI teammates or cooperatively with up to 10 players in online multiplayer, with a competitive versus player mode planned for a future release.
